OUR MISSION
We are creating the community hub for men to build strong, thriving relationships within themselves and with other men, to heal individual and cultural wounds around Masculinity, and to step into deeper presence and ownership of individual mental, physical and particularly emotional health, in order to thrive in all areas of life and relationships.
__________
Our society is in the midst of a massive transition and there is a huge need for men to be strong, grounded and fiercely present in their mind, body and soul at this time. For our own well-being, and particularly the well-being of our communities (partners, kids, families, friends, loved ones, businesses, etc.)If a man is not meeting the needs that his own mental, physical, and emotional health require, he will surely see the cost of this in his day to day life and in his relationships. The Grounded Man community is the place to help you here. There is so much more to this life for us to explore as a man, and we know it, but it takes real devotion and trust in yourself to step into this. Our community, events, and excursions all provide the brave space for you to express yourself as fully as you desire, and to build deeper levels of trust and strength in how you relate to yourself and other men. Our intention is to help you claim ownership of the desires, needs and boundaries you require on the way to refining and achieving your mission, and for the community to help keep you accountable in taking the steps necessary towards them. We are all Brothers, here to support you on your journey, just as you will support us on ours, so that we may ALL show up with greater strength and resiliency in our lives, reclaim the power of embodying healthy Masculinity, and cultivate a strong sense of individual freedom.

BE THE CHANGE. SEE THE CHANGE.
Our vision is to bring to life a deeply connected community of men that support each other, create meaningful experiences together, and contribute to the change and impact we each want to see in our personal lives, our relationships, and our communities.
OUR TEAM

DAN GOMEZ-DURAN
Founder
Dan here. I’m a father of a beautiful baby girl. I’m on a mission to level up as a man and help others do the same. I have a passion for learning and teaching health (mind, body and spirit). I teach yoga, meditation, fitness and nutrition. I believe that the consciousness of what men need to better provide for themselves, society, their families and the earth is on the rise. I started The Grounded Man because I had a need to connect with more men who are doing self work and striving to become the best version of themselves. I am humbled by the community that is The Grounded Man and am excited for the future.

BRAEDYN STOCKFISH
Director of Operations
Hey folks! Braedyn, checking in. I’m passionate about sustainability and human development. I am dedicated to embracing and honouring this gift of life on Earth. For me this means cultivating deep connection with my Self, my community, and my environment. I seek discomfort and push my limits to create a healthy mind, body, and soul so that I may live the extraordinary life that I desire.
The Grounded Man provides a safe communal space that encourages a growth mindset, provides connection and accountability, and challenges me to show up for myself and my Brothers in a healthy and supportive way.

KURT MANSERGH
Director of Community Engagement
Hi I’m Kurt. I’m a Yogi who loves to learn and laugh a lot. I live a rich and fulfilling life because I’m constantly growing and evolving through the practice of mindfulness and self discovery. I pride myself on being surrounded by positive and forward thinking individuals who use their skills to impact our community in a positive manner. The Grounded Man is about learning and sharing with the intention of growth and inclusivity. I think the people you surround yourself with can really show who you are and where you want to go in this life.
OUR TENETS
These are the values and commitments upon which our community is founded:
1. I am present for myself, and I am present for my brothers.
2. I am committed to being my best self, and in doing so I give others permission to do the same.
3. I take pride in my life, my craft, my relationships, and myself.
4. I acknowledge my weaknesses, and trust that I can share them with my brothers without shame.
5. I seek out my weaknesses, so that I may solidify my fortress and stand grounded and strong.
6. I am not perfect, nor do I aspire to be. I accept myself exactly as I am today, and I recognize that I am capable of change.
