Foundations of the Heart w/Krista Reid

In our final workshop we will wrap up our four-part series (note: you don't have to have attended any of the other workshops to join this one!), as we settle in the endless depth and beauty of the fourth energy centre, The Heart. All humans are welcome at this event.

The Heart chakra is the energy centre representing our experience and connection to love, compassion, empathy and joy, a very powerful and expansive energetic space to play in and one that we can always use more of in our day-to-day life! The lower three chakras really build the foundation for the expression of our Love, our Heart, to be shared with the people and places around us. It's in our Heart we find connection and meaning with the world. It's here we find the beauty and the sacredness in all parts of the dance of life. When this centre is activated and in balance, we feel a sense of ease to the flow of life - even when it gets challenging, as we stay connected to the beauty of our nature and our bodies.

On the other hand, if this energy centre is imbalanced - we may feel defensive, lonely, jealous or resentful, and may have a fear of opening ourselves up to others, and struggle with being vulnerable and creating intimacy. We all may experience varying levels of these emotions, however when they become more frequent it may indicate it's time to connect with and bring balance to the Heart. Which is exactly the intention of this workshop.

On our journey through the chakras in this series, we have touched on the energy of the Inner Child, the Masculine and the Feminine inside of all of us. This final workshop on the heart represents the energy of Sacred Union. Bringing all parts of life, and nature, together to commune and celebrate the beauty and the madness of our existence.

This 2.5-hour experience is intended to be a space of guided personal and communal transformation and liberation of the Heart. The depth of your own journey is totally in your hands. Your intuitive wisdom and personal boundaries are honoured every step of the way, and you will be encouraged to expand into only what feels safe. The energy and breath you give to this practice reflects the energy you receive, and we meet you wherever that may be.

The schedule for the evening will look something like this:

7:00PM - Opening Circle (We will gather in circle to start the evening together, opening up the space and setting the intentions and the connections for the evening ahead)

7:30PM - Guided Meditation (Braedyn will guide us through a visualization to invoke the spirit of the Heart)

7:45PM - Embodied Practice (Braedyn will guide us through individual, partner, and group connection exercises that bring in the energy of Sacred Union in the Heart)

8:30PM - Breathwork Practice (Krista will guide us through a powerful breathwork session to move through any blockages and open up the space around our Heart)

9:15PM - Closing Circle

9:30PM - Event Complete
